Also, third-party stores would still be indispensable, because there are so many parts that are unavailable from the PaB website. Lego owns Bricklink, and Bricklink is strictly third-party sellers; the site would die and Lego would lose money on their investment & whatnot If you want to source parts from PAB and Bricklink, use BrickHunter, a Chrome extension that lets you upload a wanted list & auto-selects parts from PAB and shows what you would need to get from Bricklink if parts are unavailable or retired Yes, BH is amazing, and I often use it. But it adds another layer of complexity and another step in the process.
