My 2008 copy of 7048 only has old Dark Red, so the transition must have occurred halfway throughout 2008.

[...] TBH I can't remember - this was a few years ago now. It definitely has (some) newer dark red parts now though! (10 months ago, Aug 22, 2023, to Colors)
