  Hello,

I bought 2 sets from a store and one of them was incomplete (it was supossed
to be complete). I've written the seller with a list of the missing pieces,
my email was read but I have no answer, it's been more than two weeks since
I send the email.

What should I do?

Which set was it, and which parts were missing? As not all sets have to have
all the parts in the inventory to be considered complete when used.

Set was 75153 AT-ST Walker, it was supposed to be complete with no box. I'm
missing pieces for the feet wich make the model unable to stand up, tiles to
conceil studs, pieces with stickers, the projectiles for the weapons... I don't
think that's ok to sell it as a "complete" set.

And the seller accepted this and offered me a refund when I filled a NSS. Then
BRICKLINK closed the NSS and the seller just ignores my messages.

It costs about $25 with shipping for a used one (that hopefully isn't also
damaged). Glue costs about $2 or they may already have it.

I have a 3144 with a partially broken prong. I attempted to fix it with MEK,

Someone then told me that it might be PVC, but I tried that glue and it also
did nothing. Does anyone have any idea what glue or chemical that I can use on
this part to make the repair?

Thanks!

Who can check on this for me?

Seems it was omitted for 1 lb 1.76 oz

I added a large set to my cart from your store and S&H was $15.99.

  Hi guys,
sadly the process of changing and merging parts on Bricklink (BL) is going on
and on, which is in some cases good and in some very bad.
I am a MOC designer and doing MODs of existing MOCs. For those modifications
I normally provide Studio generated Bricklink wanted list XMLs next to my instruction
pdfs.
In the last months I received more and more emails that complain about those
XML files.
I always test those XMLs right after I create them by importing them into my
default BL wanted list. So I know the XMLs are valid and work on BL at the moment
I created them.

But the strange way (at least in my opinion) of changing the parts lib on BL
and the way the poor implemented XML importer works on BL, those XMLs are suddenly
invalid.
So I have to regenerate the XMLs or cause Studio and BL are not synchronized
on the part changes, I have to manually fix the XMLs. This means I have to spend
a serious amount of my spare time for something that should really not be my
task.

My question is, why does it have to work this way?

All other tools and platforms, like Rebrickable, are still able to import those
"invalid" XML files.
I would expect BL just sets the old part numbers to "deprecated" or adds
the old numbers as valid alternatives to the new ones. So the import tool can
automatically switch those parts to the new valid number while the import process
Or another simple solution, the import tool has a "whitelist" of those
old parts integrated. So if the part is not found in the BL database, it checks
the "whitelist" and if the part is found there it automatically converts
it to the new number.

Really strange that such a situation is reality in 2024 with all that AI around
us.

Kind regards
Joerg aka Linse

Indeed that is a huge problem, sadly with the current tools within Bricklink
there no option, wish they updated the import to also match to alternate IDs.

For the time being your best option is to use the software Brickstore, import
the XML there and it will fix all the entries to match Bricklink, then you can
export as XML again.

So I am finally getting to know Stud.io and saved a .io file and uploaded it
to a new wanted list. But the autofill doesn't like the wanted list I've
created. The parts are all very basic bricks and tiles but it won't fill
the cart. If I click 'easy buy' it will tell me a bunch of very basic
bricks aren't available when clearly they are very generic parts.

try navigating to the wanted list and choosing "buy all" rather then
easy buy. you have more options with it. but if the "basic bricks and tiles"
are in colors that dont exist then they wont be avlaible (as in studio you can
use parts in colors that dont exist)

MEK works on ABS, not that soft antenna part. Nothing really works on that.

If it's an existing set, you can part out the set into a want list.

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/partout.page

And if you happen to be on a catalogue item's page, you can just click here:

Hi,

File an NSS: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=110

will do, thanks a lot

Well, a month later still nothing...

Seller sent me an email after filling the NSS promising a refund. I accepted.
And waited. I wrote him again. Nothing... Meanwhile I received an email from
bricklink.

"Status of order XXXXXXXX was changed from NSS to Shipped by BrickLink Administration
on Apr 19, 2024 16:01.

Reason: NSS removed. Proof of shipment provided"

WTF??! I said the order was incomplete, how can they remove my complain because
the seller show some proof of shipment?

the best part is I can fill a new NSS because it says the case is closed.

What should I do?
