design change, waiting to hear back from the proprieter or *gasp* actually working.
So then all my carts expire after about 2-3 days and I have to work on rebuilding
them. It's enough to give up and source parts elsewhere.

Sure, I can save screenshots and try to save in Brickstock but these are extra
unnecessary steps. Likely there is a variable somewhere in the bowels of the
BL code that could be changed from "72 hours" to "720 hours". If Amazon, Target,
and the Owl can remember my carts indefinitely, I don't think it's asking
too much for BL to do the same.

And for those who would complain that it's unnecessary, tell me also how
it would inconvenience you to have a longer cart timeout.

No. As far as I am aware the buyer still 'locks' in the price when they
put items in their cart. If carts were to last 30 days then it is possible that
a seller sells an item at a previous price for 30 days after the seller has changed
the price. A buyer could essentially lock in the price and have 30 days to decide
if they want to buy it at that price or not, if the seller changes the price
(up or down) it will not affect the item already in the cart.

This has been tested and discussed in the forum in the past but it is possible
that this feature has been changed.

As far as I know the other e-commerce sites do not lock in the price of an item
when placing it in the cart but instead use the price at the time of checkout
and as a result there is no downside when keeping carts for a long time.
