Inventory card shows 1 string: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1201259 I also found the photo of another cardboard that only shows one string. So I will accept this change. It's strange that the old request never fixed the quantity of the strings. Any chance that the second string was an extra? Large parts are known to come without being polybagged in some sets, especially in the 90's. So I think these were never packaged in this set. /Jan
