suggest a new category for this specific shade but I don't know how to rename
it. Please give your suggestions.

One of the questions that falls out this explanation is, what did LEGO customer
service do when someone called them concerning brittle dark red parts in a set,
but only certain parts (of that color) were brittle ? The implication here is
that, at some point, CS was sending out parts that did not exactly match to other
dark red parts.
But the explanation above, may go all the way back to this set , of
which I parted out quite a few copies, and likely about 15 years ago. Certain
dark blue parts varied widely between translucent dark blue (which isn’t even
a color that BL recognizes) and dark blue. At some point in my current process,
it is possible that I will part out more of that set, and will likely run into
this again. Note tho, that neither shade of dark blue were brittle, so this was
some other cause/effect.
