There is no differentiation between these shades on Bricklink and it had caused
me to order the same pieces from different stores several times until I had the
correct amount of pieces in the correct shade I wanted. This is especially frustrating
with the most uncommon pieces in dark red. For those of you who don't know

Since the original dark red and the newest dark red have a similar translucid
effect, I think they should be in the same category. The dark red shade produced
between 2009 and 2018 is more opaque and most importantly, more brittle. So I
suggest a new category for this specific shade but I don't know how to rename
it. Please give your suggestions.
