But for part variants, notes and pictures are important and necessary. Variant notes and pictures are easy to add and require little to no maintenance if done properly. With the rise during the last decade of 3D printing, combined with the increase in clone brands and fakes, I feel like it would be wise to properly document legitimate part variants.
