In my opinion the feature of the bypass password is to allow a seller some buyers (selected and approved by the seller) to place an order although they don't meet store terms. Since every store has its own reasons for having certain terms, I don't think it is a good idea to just disable all the configurable store terms. Sellers use these to set up a store that is manageable in their environment (private life, other job, easy access to shipping, etc). However, I DO think a lot of sellers are not fully aware of the consequences of their store settings, resulting in the lower sales and/or frustrated buyers. As a buyer I think it is always possible (if seller allows contact) to ask for a bypass password if an order doesn't comply with store terms.

That is a good point. Perhaps, it should be disabled initially with the option to allow it to be enabled even if one isn't using auto checkout. Otherwise there will just [...] (78 months ago, Jan 15, 2018, to Suggestions)
