I cant seem to change my address as i just updated it and it i missed a number
in my address and cant seem to update it... Is there some kind of waiting period??

Also is there a place to add an extra address to my account? So that i can just
select the one i want at checkout instead of having to update or type in everytime

Note: it does NOT change the address on existing placed orders. If there are,
and not shipped, urgently message the seller(s).

You can also change your main address here:

https://www.bricklink.com/r3/user/addressbook.page

There you can have more than 1 in the same country that you can switch at checkout.
