In the secondary sense this site is about enthusiasts - there are users who might
want to compare/show lists to others, without any marketing interest or indirect
advertizement attempts. An inventory list where all items are (by default) not
for selling. In tertiary terms parts of such a list can then at any time become
available for purchase.

(I've an account there but never used a feature realted to what I could
own, so I don't know..)
Much more, you may use BrickStore, free and open source, like many (I'd say)
people in the LEGO passion, and share your file(s) to chosen friends...
