| As a Classic Space kid-at-heart that had several of the sets, I'm going to
overlook the 'less interesting' part of your description of Classic Space
 Though most of the early sets had the trans-yellow or trans-blue pieces; it
wasn't until Futuron (I think) when they went with the trans-green.
As for suggestions on the green canopy, they did make
that could work, though you'd have to change the connect point...
