It seems like admins are starting to look back at the pile of suggestions we
have.
Implementing some discarding some...
However it is not clear if they are basing the decisions on what to implement
or do with the site based on old votes, new votes, by some other parameter or
just plain randomly.
When dealing with major changes like price comparison etc, it would be good to
poll the entire site not just forum users about what to do.
A simple email with a yes/no toggle for a couple important suggestions and the
option to subscribe for future polling.
If the user does not reply they don't get emailed the next round if they
do their vote is counted.
Each poll could be open for say 3 days.
The next poll would come when the admins are ready to implement new changes.
In this way if you don't vote then you have to shut up and stop bickering
in the forum. If you vote but are minority then oh well better luck next time.
I know BL is not a democracy but it could actually help BL to listen to what
the great majority of BL users, buyers and sellers want and not just do random
stuff.
[...] Mailing out to all users isn't a great idea for this sort of thing to be honest, but trying to get more representation on suggestions is a good idea. Maybe putting [...] (88 months ago, Mar 14, 2017, to Suggestions)
