Now that I know more about Bricklink I thought I'd circle back on my first
big mistake; printing out order pages in black and white and having inadequate
lighting in the shop.

One of the first sets I parted out was

Set No: 6985 Name: Cosmic Fleet Voyager
*
6985-1 (Inv) Cosmic Fleet Voyager
393 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 1986
Sets: Space: Classic Space
from my childhood, and the
second or third order was for either

Part No: 3933a Name: Wedge, Plate 8 x 4 Wing Left without Underside Stud Notch
*
3933a Wedge, Plate 8 x 4 Wing Left without Underside Stud Notch
Parts: Wedge, Plate {White}
or

Part No: 3934a Name: Wedge, Plate 8 x 4 Wing Right without Underside Stud Notch
*
3934a Wedge, Plate 8 x 4 Wing Right without Underside Stud Notch
Parts: Wedge, Plate {White}

The images for all of the colors except black, show the underside of the plate
and you don't really notice it unless you're looking at it on a computer
screen (which I do now), so I shipped the wrong side and then had to send the
other to fix the mistake.

Can all of these be changed to show the top of the plates in order to conform
with every other part on bricklink?

Of course. Anyone who has the parts - and is willing to - can upload new images
for them just like everyone else does for all other images.

In other words, there is nothing special the catalog admins can do about this,
and the standard processes are in place for the community to fix it.

Cheers,
Randy

AH! I'm still a rookie at adding things and haven't done photos yet.
I'm assuming in a pinch screen shots from the the studio or something would
suffice yea? Mine are gone obviously so I can't photograph them.

Studio renders would work.

Good news: Studio only has the -a variants

… but as the difference is only on the underside, why not use the same images
as 3933 and 3934?

Well, that's thinking on your feet.

I was trying to get out of doing more work, but okay...you win.

I actually didn't think of doing what Sylvain suggested. It is late over
here, so my mind is only functioning on partial capacity.

In any case, your request has been completed.

Cheers,
Randy

Over here? We're probably neighbors! I was going to throw my hate in the
ring for Midnight-0400 spam killing I'm such a night owl.

Much appreciated. Kept meaning to ask about it and was reorganizing all my wedge
plates today.
