| I receive this message from a buyer if he wants to pay after placing his order.
"A PayPal error has occurred. Please try again. If the issue persists, please
reachout to the Help Desk with Reference #20240313-77816835aad5."
I have now reported this three times via the Help link at the bottom of the Bricklink
site without a response.
My question now is, does anyone know if I should report such a report in a different
way and where?

Hello there, IT technician here by trade. If seen this or similar questions posted
the last 2 days. A lot of times Paypal will have issues if there is any problems
on the buyers end. Internet traffic such as a slow connection, delay in transmission,
or poor network security can cause the packet request being sent to paypal to
be lost in transmission. However, it stays in the browser cache and will prevent
duplicate requests. Unfortunately, there is not much that a seller or bricklink
can do to help in this regard.
Put simply, If any buyer has issues with this, here are some troubleshooting
steps the buyer can take that usually work.
1. clear internet browser cache for Paypal in settings.
2. close all open browser tabs and try again.
3. Reset your internet connection and then reset your computer.
4. If the problem persists it is usually a direct problem with Paypal, and the
user will have to contact them directly.
Hope this helps.

Hi Matthias,
Thank you very much for this quick response which I will pass on to the buyer.
Hopefully he can pay then for the order and I can send the order. Once again
great and thank you.

For PayPal issues it can sometimes help to disconnect and reconnect your account

As for the help desk response times lately they have been taking 3+ weeks to
respond
