I was excited to see this piece for various reasons but was curious if anyone
knows for sure if the hand part is perpendicular to the holder unlike the minifig
hand insert to arm bar that is actually a compound angle.

Part No: 5059 Name: Mini Doll, Prosthetic Hand
*
5059 Mini Doll, Prosthetic Hand
Parts: Mini Doll, Body Part

From what I can see in the image it looks like what I want out of the piece.
Color wise Yuck but, I can get over that if its what I hope it to be.

Since I'm not seeing too many buyers out there yet, I'm not willing to
buy overseas until I am sure or others a little closer to home start selling
them and can fulfill a reasonable wanted list.

Thanks...

Why not use

*

?

It’s certain it’s perpendicular and it comes in more colours.

I just knew it. I should have given a little more reason to my query. It goes
much deeper than the average Joe/Jane knowing LEGO pieces. I have CARNAL knowledge
of Bar pieces. just don't test me right now...

The focus on this is more of mechanical and spacing interface for Steam loco
linkages and rods.

The Clip suggested is what I am currently using. For the spacing and alignment
reasons the new hand covers (Possibly) a 1.5m to 2mm gap that is created from
the 11090 part. my fix for that is a tiny cut of soft hose as a washer to keep
the clip from binding or un-clipping from misalignment due to the constant motion
of the rods. I do not have any images at the moment to share but it came down
to seeing this piece on another site as New pieces and said, Oh wow that might
work too.

To be honest at this point I'm ready just to resin print EXACTLY what I want
since for a while I've seen a few others do the same. I promised that would
be a last resort but considering the prices now of all the resin printers its
almost foolish to not have one even though they are MESSY as hell. I did a test
with my Regular FDM but feel the resin is a better way to go. With that said.
This piece might bring me back to the graces of the LEGO Gods.

OK that was a bit much and didn't exactly go the way I thought it should.
While the joking of that being TMI.. It was more referencing my early 80's
childhood when I was stupid enough to pull a Homer Simpson and instead of putting
crayon's up my nose. For some reason I felt it was necessary to stick a Short
Bar antenna up my nose from one of my space sets.

Looks like it fits over the end of this mini-doll's arm. Not sure if that's
what you're asking.

It's close but not quite perpendicular. It's probably a degree or so
out.

And it's not a symmetrical design from the side.

A bar does fit nicely into the end where them minidoll arm is designed to go
though.
