71405 and 71409 are both listed as containing chrome gold but when I looked at
the inventory, no chrome gold part shows up. Are there errors with searching
for sets containing specific color?

When searching for a specific color, you will get a return on any piece that
has a version in the color you are searching. That includes sets that have a
piece in that color but not necessarily in that set.

You would be better off searching for specific parts that you know are in Chrome
Gold and then seeing what sets those pieces came in.
