| I agree, according to the assigned RGB value, No. But here are Bricklinks images,
purple on the left, dark purple on the right. I haven't seen a lot of the
old purple and want to make sure I am correctly identifying it.

Dark Purple is darker than that 1x1 tile shows.
Don't focus on the darkness. Focus on the redness. Purple is much redder
than dark purple.

Dark Purple is darker than that 1x1 tile shows.

A lot of colors do come in 2x4 bricks, but you can make a 2x4 brick with two
2x2 bricks etc.
If you don’t mind if the brick has the LEGO logo on it, the 2x4 brick does come
in the most colors
