Part 46834 is related to 46835. But under section "Item Appears In" it should
be "5 Sets" (which is in current status) but should be added "1 part".

When these two parts 46834 and 46835 are assembled there is almost no possibility
to disassemble it. So when these parts are in used condition, they can only be
sold when they are assembled as one unique part.

Hello,
If the parts are difficult to disassemble, then they can be added to the catalog
as an assembly and then added to sets as a counterpart.

You can add the part yourself here on the Catalog, Add or Change tab:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogAdd.asp?utm_content=subnav

Add Item: - Part

to fill out the form to add the part.
Then, add an image:

Add Image: - Part

Feel free to ask questions here if you need any help with the form!

Thanks,
Jen

I have to admit that it is quite confusing for me to do that.
For example, how do I write a part number when both parts have separate numbers!?
Secondly, how can I determine the name of the part when I am not so familiar
with such parts!?

I am sure that Lego has a picture of this piece in its catalog. I hope there
is communication between the parts designer and Bricklink. If it doesn’t exist
I think it really needs to be made.
I think it's easier for an administrator to do this than one of the users.

Thanks in advance.

Actually, the majority of our catalog is created by the users. The administrators
are only there to check our work. All the parts, inventories, and sets are added
by members like you and me. We learn how to do it by reading through the Help
but mostly by seeing what's already here and using it as a guide.

However, I understand that learning to add a new part can be confusing at first.
I will go ahead and add this one for you. I will post instructions shortly for
you to add the image which will be needed for approval. LEGO does not have images
of parts like this one that do not come assembled in sets. Did you create the
image you posted here? If so, you have everything you need to create a new image
for our catalog.

Okay, I have added the new part:

Part No: 46835c01 Name: Technic, Clutch Connector with White Outside (46835 / 46834)
*
46835c01 (Inv) Technic, Clutch Connector with White Outside (46835 / 46834)
Parts: Technic, Connector

Please go ahead and add an image for it here:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks Jen for the help and quick communication!

When Lego became the owner of Bricklink, I thought that they would take over
the improvement of the catalog. Obviously I was wrong

I have added some things to the catalog several times in the past, but I am really
confused by the system because it is complicated to know how to form the name
of a part or how to form its number.

The picture is not mine, I found it on the internet, but now I will make my own
picture, so I will add it.

Again, thank you!

The LEGO Group does not sell used parts, and they have no entry in their system
for a part assembly that only appears in used lots. This kind of entry is particular
only to the secondary market.

Yes I understand,

However, Lego owns Bricklink, which is largely a secondary market. As I see,
that Lego is not interested in the secondary market, he would never take ownership
of Bricklink.

So I think there should be direct care at Lego about Bricklink.

I hope you will add this part to the Bricklink base.

Thanks,
Aleksa

Thanks for letting me know!

Just one addition, I know for sure that part 46835c01 goes in the 42100 set (Liebherr
R 9800). But it is almost certain that it appears in all sets in which parts
46834 and 46835 appear.

So part 46835c01 should be added to the counterparts section in all sets, which
are:
42129 2 counterparts 46835c01
42114 1 counterparts 46835c01
42131 1 counterparts 46835c01
42112 1 counterparts 46835c01
42100 3 counterparts 46835c01

This can be checked in the instructions for these sets, but it is impossible
not to use parts 46834 and 46835 together in these sets!

Part 46834 is useless without 46835!

You can submit the request to add those to the inventory of the sets, start here:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogAdd.asp

Select Change Inventory: Set

Put the set number with the -1 and 1 entry.

Then fill the form:
