Hi,

I think the light bluish gray pic for 6179 (Tile, Modified 4 x 4 with Studs on
Edge) should be replaced with one that's much lighter to make it obvious
it's *light* bluish gray .

I've ordered quite a few of these in light bluish gray recently, but had
several sellers ship me dark bluish gray ones instead.

Looking at the pics included in the order page, even though the item text on
the order clearly says "light bluish gray" the pic is very dark and looks very
similar in colour to the dark bluish gray one (though the dark one's pic
is different orientation... but that's pointless to a seller as they won't
see them side-by-side as I've just done).

For visual people, this could be confusing.

Best regards,
-J

I've uploaded a replacement and it should be approved within a day or two.

The lighting used for the LEGO part renders is surprisingly amateurish. Quite
a large percentage of them need to be edited to resemble their actual color.
But, it's the best system we have at the moment! Please feel free to send
me a message with any that are particularly bad, and I can fix them in a jiffy.

Jen

It's approved already.

I don't want to spoil things, but imo it's looking to light now. I know
there are indeed some parts in dark bluish gray and light bluish gray that are
confusing. I made mistakes picking these in the past and when I noticed, I added
a note or even add the color in the comments.

I said to myself many times: "Look at the color description", but it doesn't
work that way all the time. Especially when you have to pick an order with over
100 lots, or you just want to get that one order out that day also and pick in
a hurry. The image is leading many times.

In this case I would be looking for a white part, not a light bluish gray.
I can't see the old Light Bluish Gray image for this part anymore, but I
never confused this part with Dark Bluish Gray in the past.

You have to be able to see good differences between:
- white
- very light gray
- very light bluish gray
- light bluish gray
- light gray
- dark bluish gray
- dark gray

like:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp?v=1&itemType=P&itemNo=

Just looking at it as a seller. Given the problem that Dark Bluish was shipped
instead of light bluish, I think the 'problem' just moved to receiving
white instead of light bluish. I have no experience with renders though.

So could you make it a bit more gray?
