| Hey all,
I recently looked for
* | | 792c03 (Inv) Arm Holder Brick 2 x 2 with Round Top Hole with Arms (792 / 793 / 795) (Homemaker Figure / Maxifigure Torso Assembly)
Parts: Arm |
and suggested adding "Maxifigure torso assembly" to the name, since that's
what I know it as; the term "maxifigure" I took from the hand:
* | | 3614a Plate, Round 1 x 1 with Tow Ball with Round Hole (Homemaker Figure / Maxifigure Hand)
Parts: Plate, Round |
* | | 3614b Plate, Round 1 x 1 with Tow Ball with Hexagon Shaped Hole (Homemaker Figure / Maxifigure Hand)
Parts: Plate, Round |
But the term implemented was "Homemaker" instead of "Maxifigure". So I wonder:
Is "Maxifigure" wrong? Shouldn't the name of the hand then be changed as
well?
And what about the arm?
I'd fill in catalogue suggestions myself, but I don't want to cause more
mess by mistake...

Well, I guess we need to decide what term is going to be used and then go one
way with all of them, or add both of them to all of them.
It would be nice to have other opinions on this. If we don't get anymore,
I will probably opt for having both names in the titles for everything.

way they where use as.

But there was an aside (that I kept above) regarding what is a maxifigure and
TakeAbricK cited the Moon Landing set saying there was no maxifigs in there.
I just wondered why the astronauts in that set weren’t considered maxifigs.

Dare I confuse matters still a bit more? There is also this set:
It is a Homemaker set, and it contains a minifigure AND a maxifigure, so a "Homemaker
figure" is not necessarily a maxifigure! Riddle me this, brickman!

Does that matter? There are many parts named after their primary feature / function
yet get used in a different way occasionally.

This request has been completed.
I believe it is beneficial to have both sets of terms in the item names, therefore
I have updated all 36 items in the catalog to include "Homemake Figure / Maxifigure"
in their names.
