This forum topic is to be used only for requests that cannot be handled using
the standard form:
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogReq.asp?itemType=P
Since this is a simple name change request, it does not need to be posted to
this topic. You have been notified of this time and time again. I will honor
this request, but this is the last time that I will complete a request such as
this for you through this forum topic.

Randy, for the record this is only the second time you’ve notified me. The first
time I found your response to be particularly unhelpful as being a first offence
you should have still approved/declined my forum request and then given fair
warning to use the form in future because when I’m offering my own free time
submitting suggestions/requests I do not expect a rule book thrown back in my
face so unnecessarily!?
Perhaps if you treated people better they would be more accommodating to your
requests and I might also be more accommodating to using the form, either way
where you really went wrong with myself is where you insisted I re-submit my
requests via the form only for them both to then be rejected However I am not
a performing seal and I don’t approve of being made to jump through hoops. You
knew what I was requesting in the forum and so if you knew you planned to reject
it why did you think it appropriate to further waste my time asking me to re-submit
my request via the forms? Something you still haven’t managed to explain?
Secondly I’m sure it suits you to be able to freely approve/decline requests,
completely unchallenged from behind closed doors but it doesn’t necessarily suit
me particularly as we see many aspects of the catalog from very different viewpoints
and so I’d rather put my requests to the forum to allow other people to chime
in should they wish to and so why is that such a problem? Are catalog requests
not up for any kind of debate or something?
Either way you’ve already approved the adding of the single word ‘Robot’ to this
item and yet my other two requests in the below thread also only involve adding
a single word therefore I’m really not sure what further notes and explanations
you need me to convey via a form submission as I’ve already made clear what I’m
proposing in the thread?

Whether you choose to approve or decline this or any other forum catalog requests
is down to you but choosing to decline forum requests that you would otherwise
approve if submitted via the form is somewhat short sighted because if you want
the catalog to be changed/improved for the better it shouldn’t really matter
where that suggestion comes from especially when you consider many catalog changes
are made just from people having everyday conversations/debates in the forum
and so what’s the difference? If the request/suggestion is an improvement then
maybe just appreciate that someone has given their time to bring it to your attention
rather than getting all fixated with the way in which they've brought it
to your attention?
