Whenever I try and modify a wanted list I'm getting the attached error.

I tried to part out a new set and change the quantities on a brand new wanted
list and still same thing. I am also unable to apply an order to a wanted list.
Nothing happens.

Anyone seeing something similar?

Bricklink has been merging parts over the last few weeks/months and it means
that you now have 1 or more duplicate parts on 1 or more of your wanted lists.

Getting the same issue. Stick to using advanced search for now perhaps as this
works fine:-

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogSearch.asp?utm_content=subnav

🤔 It looks like a back-end error but everything works well for me, on both:
— Falkon 24.01.75 on Linux (= Qt WebEngine = Chrome 87.xxx),
— Firefox 125.0.3 on Linux.

What browsers are you all using?

just delete cookies or use some form of anonymous mode and it asks for OTP again

Hi all, not sure if this is normal (as I'm writing this it occurs to me that
it probably is), but I got a Login from new device email today (yes I logged
in, but it was the same browser I always use) the email came through about an
hour after I logged in and the time stated in the email was also about an hour
after I logged in.
It's more so the time in the email that says when the new log in was detected
that has me concerned ( I know emails can take a while to come through).
The time discrepancy could be due to time zones (email time is in UTC and I am
AEST).
What does everyone think about this?

I just received an order, and every item that was ordered shows up as two lines
with the exact same number of items ordered and the exact same number of items
remaining in my inventory (partial image below). The total number of items (136)
at the bottom adds up to the sum of all the lines, including the duplicates.
This seems to be a problem, as it indicates I have twice as many items available.
However, when I check my inventory, it matches a single line, not the sum of
the two lines. For example, I had 38 black technic axles, and the buyer appears
to have ordered 2x17=34, but my inventory says I still have 21 left. The total
cost of the order amounts to all the items, including the duplicates. Anyone
else ever have this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Adam

Try to contact the customer to see what they intended to buy. Do you have clicked
separate order batches on the bottom of the order screen?

Moved to Technical Issues the thread too.

Funny thing is, I got one of those today too, but I don't recall needing

enter. The IP address matched my router though, so who the heck knows.

I think the one-time pin (OTP) only lasts a month or so in any case, so once
it expires even your regular computer & browser is a "new device"

I had the same email yesterday when I was pulling my store inventory to brick
store

We tried all of that, but to no avail. Cleared cookies, cleared history, incognito,
different browsers and we even tried different computers, however nothing worked.
Unfortunately I feel like the account was purged.

You can check here if her login name exists twice:
https://www.bricklink.com/members.asp

Uh no, I don't think it's possible for the same name to appear twice.

Apparently the account was simply deleted.
Owner must have received an e-mail with the procedure to reopen it, but it could
be a long time ago...

If she was able to create a new account with the same username and email I suspect
that the old account was purged.

My friend cannot log into her account. It kept telling her invalid email or password
and when she went to reset her password by using the email she signed up with.
It would claim that the email address doesn’t exist. She recently created a new
account with the exact same username password and email but all of the saved
lists of all of her set inventories are gone. She has spent days counting individual
pieces, and now she cannot log into her account to retrieve them.

Over a month ago, Bricklink blocked us from their website, because we were taking
statistical data from the store ranking list to put on our personal excel spreadsheets.
We have sent multiple emails to Bricklink, asking to resolve this issue and
we have yet to receive any replies to our requests. Also, our service provider
cannot change our IP address and resetting our router also does not change our
IP. We need this resolved soon. Does anyone know how we can contact Bricklink
by phone, or how we can fix this problem?

Did you receive a confirmation of your Help desk inquiry with a ticket number?
We are seeing evidence recently that some tickets are not getting through.

No, it's a question of excessive number of queries, server load, etc.
See BL Terms?

I guess if it's minor, your IP will be unbanned tomorrow after BrickLink
midnight 00:00 EDT, in 5+ hours.

He was blocked a month ago, why do you think tomorrow will be the magic day he
can get back on the site?

Didn't know, but this is why I wrote exactly "if it's minor".

If it's a month ban, then it's not minor, or they have so few time that
they don't consider it's a priority to unban him

If he buys a lot then I suppose it least favorites open stores that have prices
over the average so that the Easy Buy page works better for him.

I have gotten 1 minute blocks back when I was least favoriting 10,000 stores (at 9,653 right now), because I was loading stores so fast.

Is there a reason for doing that?

Over a month ago, Bricklink blocked us from their website, because we were taking
statistical data from the store ranking list to put on our personal excel spreadsheets.
We have sent multiple emails to Bricklink, asking to resolve this issue and
we have yet to receive any replies to our requests. Also, our service provider
cannot change our IP address and resetting our router also does not change our
IP. We need this resolved soon. Does anyone know how we can contact Bricklink
by phone, or how we can fix this problem?

I would start by reading the TOS you agreed to when you signed up on the site.
https://www.bricklink.com/v3/terms_of_service.page
Pay particular attention to Section 17.

If this has been going on for a month, the problem isn't going to fix itself.
You must have been doing some hard scraping to where the site considered it a
DDOS attack.

I would not repeat this behavior in the future. The API is provided, learn how
to use it.

Here are 5 options. This isn't even a full list.

1.) Send endless emails letting Bricklink staff know you were abusing their site.
Probably doesn't matter because you are unlikely to get a response that solves
your problem.

2.) Change your IP address. If your router doesn't have this feature, buy
another router.

3.) Request your provider change your IP address. You didn't try hard enough.

4.) Switch providers.

5.) Use a VPN with coupon for $25-$30 US a year ($2 a month).

Youtube and Google are your friends.

Didn't get blocked from using the API. was just using excel to pull some
of the store ranking list. My guess is I pulled to much in the amount of time
allowed so to BL it looked like a cyber attack.

No, it's a question of excessive number of queries, server load, etc.
See BL Terms?

I guess if it's minor, your IP will be unbanned tomorrow after BrickLink
midnight 00:00 EDT, in 5+ hours.

on the site. Only way I can use the site right now is by using a VPN.

But, how then did you post this?

I assume they were blocked from using the API. They still have buying and selling
privileges.

Oh OK, but then, did they read the API Terms?
I'd say no.

I've had reasons to contact BL in the past, and found it near impossible
to contact anyone who actually works for BL. They want you to use the "Community"
resource, good luck. (credit where credits due, the "Community" does
help sometimes, just a bummer to rely on complete strangers for technical BL
help instead of the company, but that's what it is.)

For both items shown, the bulk quantity should be x4

The buyer completed the purchase correctly, but BL screwed up the display for
the bulk of the second item. I have never seen this error before now.

My second BL glitch in 48 hours. The other one was an order item that my records
and my BL emails prove I sold about 6 weeks ago, but appeared in a new order.
I know it's an error listing because the Retain Lots was NOT enabled and
pretty much 100 percent of my inventory items have Retain Lots turned ON.

Wasn't the update just a few nights ago? That is usually the pre-cursor
to this type of problem cropping up.
