Absolutely. The interface is key. The main reason that I wrote so much is that
I'm trying to sell existing users on the value of this change. Explaining how
to actually interact with the improved catalog would be much easier to describe.
I was thinking about making a few mock-up screenshots of how some frequently
used pages might look if this catalog change was implemented under BL's current
design.

Yeah. I wish we knew more about the progress on the updated site. As far as I
know we have not yet heard even an estimates timeframe. I'm imagining Q2 2013.

up to now Catmins are not involved in ANY possible catalog database design changes.
