| At the shore where I workout, are this time of year, a lot of wildlife vying
for what I can only assume is their share of what spring's offering. Mostly
birds; seabirds, ravens and various birds of prey, above while I strenuously
plow on.
Today, I was given an aerial show with a falcon battling ravens. Never seen such
before. Observing what I could through my exhaustion, it was glorious to witness
the falcon’s ability to evade the blackbirds' assault. I can only assume
that it's the plentiful number of rabbits at our feet, the falcon was interested
in.
These rabbit staying close underfoot, are strangely unafraid of us humans. In
noticing the falcon today and ospreys previously, I had a thought that perhaps
the rabbits might've learned that humans (we working out) keep birds of prey
at bay? Just a random thought this morning. Could be projecting
