That makes sense if the averages for a given part are only calculated once per day. I've not run across this issue before, but it seems like Price Guide manipulation. As in, if other stores use the regular current average price when parting out, they'll accidentally price at least some items higher than they ought to be, making the store that does the initial price very high but later lowers it look like they have low prices when they don't.
