The optional column in the Orders Received page where a tracking number can be added is not activated per default, most sellers (I assume – like me until recently) don’t know that this option exists, so they won’t use it. On the buyer’s side, I am not sure how many know that feature and look for the TrackingNo by opening the Order Summary. Due to constantly tightened rules for sellers (by Paypal, Bricklink) tracked shipping will be more or less standard in the future. Thus a default TrackingNo column should be available for both sellers and buyers in their overview of orders. This should improve communication between buyer and seller and avoid unnecessary requests.
