The frosted bricks I can understand, as I fully believe that they are the same as the many variants of internal supports found on the opaque bricks, and yeah, the data is simply not there even after 20 years. It becomes a more visually noticeable in transparent bricks, but this is inconsistent treatment and frankly, I don't think distinguishing these the way they are right now is all that helpful as there's times more variety in these clear bricks due to the numerous material changes that occurred in those eras, and that would be a nightmare to catalogue -- where would one even begin with that?
