Idk, Why not post this from your real account? Frankly Bricklink will do what is best for Bricklink. As is their right as owner of the site, and I am not belittling all the contributions made by every volunteer who gave their time and energy into identifying these variants. My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that the information will still exist for the variants, but they won't be listed separately. As far as the buyers who specifically want a certain variant it is probably a far lower percentage then the buyer who doesn't know or care. Merging them makes the search and decision to buy faster and easier for those who don't know/don't care. I think several shops will continue to sort out and list at least by comments these variants and will become the go to stores for those who seek out specific variants. It will probably allow them to price them higher and make more profit. I could be totally wrong thou and this change could destroy the whole space time continuum. Oh wait, wrong discussion for that. Lol, sorry, people do grow up, my account is linked to my real email now, not my parents, hence why this account has only been around since the beginning-ish off the school year.
