The factory in China that LEGO contracted to make those first "Reissue" figures (Broadway Precision Technology Ltd.) did not put any printing on the neck. The emblem printing is also brighter and with much more consistent alignment (lots of technological development in printing tech since the 80s!). I have been looking for a copy of 973p90new2c03 for a while now, but people keep listing their older versions incorrectly :/
