more functional differences (here starts the usual forum disagreements) new 2780 vs old 2780: when poked, new mould don't roll out of table, it stops all by itself. "anti roll notch" for the win any 2708 vs 4459: 4459 is concrete-like. a pain to remove from bricks. And if you ever used them to join holed bricks, poor you. 1 is hard, 2 is rock solid, 3 is Heracles labour. 3 pins and it's game over. talk about "pinned in place"
