Hey if people got an extra hat per set they were lucky, I opened the others that I got and none of them (10 total) had an extra hat. I was just trying to help, and if this is not helpful then that's ok. The extra pieces are usually lighter pieces, so that was why I was surprised it was listed as an extra. But it appears that I have been overridden. I will just part out into Brickstore so I can get remarks, and count pieces that way- then doing it in Bricklink like I used to. Who confirmed that there was an actual extra hat included with this set? Has it been proven that a significant number of this set came with an extra hat included? It might be a tribute to Indiana Jones having had a tendency to drop and have to retrieve his hat. If that's intentional, and someone from TLG can confirm, then yes this would indeed be an extra hat. Otherwise, there's a possibility that it might just be a random extra hat. Cheers ... ghyde It has much more to do with the hat/hair combos showing up as Extras due to production methods.
