that regular priority rate. Lego tends to be pretty light weight so the total
weight on an order most often can be sent in your own boxes for less than the
cost of using flat weight. One can also order free non-flat rate boxes from the
post office for those times when they make more sense.

Careful with using the flat rate boxes for non-flat rate shipping without covering
up the box. I've used the small boxes before but wrapped them in brown packaging
paper. Allegedly if you send something in the box for, say, $4 it'll get
flagged by their machines and they'll charge you for the difference to the
flat rate.
I haven't had that specifically happen but I tried a funky shaped box twice
with shipping through shipstation and I got emails for both saying I would be
charged more for the difference.
