People rarely come in your shop from Forum or main page - people use Wanted Lists, rebrickable, Price Guide, or know your shop and start manually their shopping from here (it gets rarer). Much more, the more you erroneously advertise, the more you'll end up in Least Favorite shops list of the buyers. Note: your sale message in forum has been read maybe 50 times, so maybe 33 different people. There is half a million buyers maybe. Forum doesn't bring you much about Sales.
