If I were you, I would ask the next potential seller if they have a black light to confirm. People who try to just do it with their eyes are likely to get it wrong. The trouble is that the piece has only been found in one set and it isn't ALWAYS in that set. So people might think a sort of off color piece is Trans-Neon and especially if they get it from   *  5960-1 (Inv) The Mermaid Castle 229 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2005 Sets: Belville: Fairy-Tale . But you need a black light to be sure.
