Hello drehscheibe24,
We want to inform that you have reached the EUR 10,000 distance selling threshold
on BrickLink for the 2021 calendar year and may need to enable distance selling.
The new EU Marketplace rules went into effect on July 1, 2021 indicating that
any seller with more than EUR 10,000 worth of distance sale of goods must register
with their local tax authorities and charge the VAT rate of the buyer’s country.
Your 2021 distance selling sales total:
EUR XXXXXX
You will need to register for either One Stop Shop (OSS) or in each individual
EU Member State where you sell on BrickLink. Once you obtain your OSS ID number
or the VAT IDs for the countries you transact in, you can then enable distance
selling on BrickLink.
To enable distance selling, go to the Value Added Tax (VAT) section on the Store
Settings Management page.
Go to Store Settings Management page
You have 30 days* from when this email was sent to enable distance selling on
BrickLink. If no action is taken, your selling abilities on BrickLink within
the EU Member States (other than your home nation) will be blocked until the
end of the next calendar year. During this time you can still register and enable
distance selling.
OSS Already Enabled
If you’ve already enabled OSS, you may be receiving this email while our admin
team is still verifying your materials or your OSS registration was set to begin
on a future date.
VAT IDs Enabled in Some Countries
If you’ve already enabled VAT IDs in the countries you transact in, only countries
without VAT IDs will be blocked from checkout in your store.
