Other dresses in Light Blue and Pink have this same issue. Perhaps a catalog administrator can change the release year back to 2003? I didn't notice that it was also in another set. The one I was working with is within Dark Purple's time. It isn't violet. Another solution is to make the skirt N/A and put Dark Purple into its name. I believe it is fine as Dark Purple until a time when clothes from years past may be treated differently in regards to how they are classified. However, the dress may be different colors from different sets if it spanned a color transition period. Changing all the sets that it appeared in to include it as Dark Purple right away may not have been the smartest move. Those changes were made because the person who said the part is not Purple but Dark Purple was the same person who confirmed both inventories that include the part with source: sealed set contents. Admittedly I had not checked/noticed that this would result in a wrong release year for Dark Purple. Then again, the dress from 2000 does not like purple, so what color could it be? Violet maybe? Definitely not regular Violet. It is a squinty OK match for dark blue-violet. But then we move the release year of that color. If it is really important, I would change it to NA and put dark purple at the start of the name. Then it looks in inventoried exactly like it does now, but it does appear in the color guide. That part in your image is the 2005 dress, isn't it? I think dark purple is okay for that part but we need to know if the 2000 dress is the same color (probably it isn't because dark purple did not yet exist in 2000). The part in my image is of the 2000 dress, taken a year ago. I just got the 2005 dress and didn't need to take a picture. Okay. I was just confused because the figure is from   *  5961-1 (Inv) Snow Queen 56 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 2005 Sets: Belville: Fairy-Tale (I'm talking about this picture: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1318502 ) So can you say anything about a potential color difference between the dress from 2000 and the one from 2005?
