I know USPS is facing COVID and other difficulties nationwide - they are working
under very tough conditions and I sympathize and support them.

That said, I am in Philadelphia and am experiencing major delays receiving packages,
but no delays when I send packages out.

My last 5 outgoing and incoming packages - all First Class, all similar size
and weight, all properly labeled with adequate postage, several are Bricklink
orders and a few are other things:

Incoming:
- 8 days
- 9 days
- 16 days (that one was actually Priority!)
- 11 days and counting
- 15 days and counting

Outgoing:
- 3 days to California
- 3 days to Wisconsin
- 3 days to New York
- 4 days to North Carolina
- 3 days to New Mexico

Of note, every single incoming package has reached my local Distribution Center
1-3 days after being sent - so 100% of the delay is happening within Philadelphia.

I'm wondering if any other Philadelphia-based BL members - or BL members
who have recently shipped to Philadelphia - have had similar experiences?

Thanks!

Could this distribution center's trouble, 90 miles away be a factor?

Anything is possible, for sure - but all incoming packages are arriving at the
Philadelpiha Distribution Center, which is not that one (it’s much closer, in
Philadelphia itself), and all the delays are after they get there.

I suppose it’s possible Philly has had to take on the extra load from that other
distribution center; but if that were the issue then I’d expect my outgoing packages
to be impacted too, and they’re not.
