An early 40's happily married AFOL who enjoys family, our two Boston Terriers (Ollie and Dexter), LEGO, motorcycles, cars, traveling, and sunshine.
I like to collect older sets I was never able to get when I was growing up, including trains, city, space, castle, and pirates (including two of the three HTF monorails). I currently have the majority of my collection in zip-lock form, and after replacing some missing parts on those sets thru BrickLink in 2002 I decided it was time to sell some extra LEGO to make room for more! I now actively seek out large collections of used LEGO bricks and sets, which I clean, sort, and list in my store. Sometimes I find some great sets this way (including some UCS Star Wars Sets and a Cafe Corner) as well as duplicates which I sell here. Regardless, I sort out any bad bricks that are damaged, including bite marks, discoloring, cracks, aftermarket, and the like. I won't ship something that I would not want to receive myself. Please remember that used does not mean new, and bricks may have typical wear from being stored with other bricks and sorted through.
I enjoy spending time with my awesome wife (she's a builder too) and Boston Terriers, motorcycles (1983 Honda V65 Magna, 1999 Ducati 996s Superbike, and 2008 BMW K1200S), working on cars (S2000 and other Honda products), traveling the world for work and pleasure, and being outdoors in the Florida sunshine.
I am originally from Cleveland and graduated with a biomedical engineering degree from the University of Akron. I work for a leading medical device manufacturing company within new product development. I have a great team of engineers whom I work with designing and developing new medical devices. Design inputs, design outputs, risk management, design verification, design validation, regulatory clearances, and all sorts of other fun things to help you get the products that help improve quality of life safely.
I enjoy traveling with my wife and some recent vacations include Egypt during covid (we had the sites like the Great Pyramids, Valley of the Kings, & Abu Simbel to ourselves), Jordan (Petra) Viet Nam, Peru (Machu Picchu), Japan, and French Polynesia in an overwater bungalow.
