I am 36 years old and rediscovering LEGO after 20 years. The "business side" of LEGO is a whole new world, mostly exciting and fun.

For my first "return to LEGO" project, I decided that a mosaic would be simple, fast, and cheap. I was wrong on all counts. It cost a lot, took two months, and was tedious work. Next time I do a mosaic, it'll be in black and white, or grayscale.

I thought that selling LEGO here on BrickLink would be fun and would offset the cost of my investment in my new projects. However, I've spent $1,000s more (yes, thousands) on LEGO now to fill my stockroom. It's not as profitable as one would hope. But I do have a LOT of bricks with which to play :)
