| Hello,
i have a idea where people create a list and it will itself search for lowest
price and show which shops have these parts and calculate the amount of parts
you will need to buy for different shops. It might be 1 shop or 2,3, it will
show as many shops as needed to get all parts you need.
Here a example...

It's not really the same, but the "Add Items" search is just bad.
I'm searching for a brick "370026" and i MUST select a Type. Why do i MUST
select a type when i know the ID !?

?
About the search, if you type 370026¹ in the search field on top of every page:
1. (without typing enter or clicking “Search”) it will show you a choice with
pictures and you’ll see the brick, and can click on it to go to its page,
2 (if you type enter or click “Search”), you’ll be sent to a result page with
only one resul.
And on the part’s page, you can add it by clicking the “Add to my Wanted List”
link.
About this thread, you start by proposing to add a Wanted List feature, which
already exists, with a search shop feature, which already exists, but then talk
about difficulties to search items and add them to the list. There’s a non-sequitur
here. Either you don’t know the wanted list exists, or you have problems with
its interface.

¹ which is a “part color code” in BL lingo, not an ID, the BL ID is 3700.
