I can hardly believe that Lego once made these perforated foils and adhesive strips. There was a cutter and a comb to cut them and press them onto the boards. These parts were made for architects and modelers. The size of the bricks is to scale. This makes it possible to build in a certain scale. It is also said that Godtfred Kirk Christiansen came up with the idea of the bricks when he was planning a new production hall.
